16th Biennial Meeting of the International Association of Genocide Scholars 2023

The Third Eye team attended and presented their research on Post 9-11 Accountability for De-Facto Genocide – Lessons Learned from Sri Lanka at the 16th Biennial Meeting of the International Association of Genocide Scholars, held at Barcelona from the 10th to the 14th of July 2023. Rajeev, Sam and Jeevan presented to an audience of internationally renowned Genocide Scholars, who were very appreciative of the fact-finding carried out so far by The Third Eye. Notable attendees of the conference include Alice Wairimu Nderitu, the UN Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, Dr. Gregory Stanton, Head of Genocide Watch and Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji, a Judge at the Internaitonal Criminal Court from 2012-2021, amongst others.
